Its datacenters run on 100% renewable geothermal and hydroelectric power and the company holds ISO 27001 certification. A free Anycast DNS service and a WordPress security pack are also offered. VPS plans start at €8.72/month for 1 GB RAM, 1 CPU and 25 GB disk, and come with preconfigured WireGuard and OpenVPN; shared hosting is advertised at a promotional €32.90 for the first year.
The FAQ states that they accept payment cards and PayPal as well as Bitcoin and Monero, with prices shown in EUR, USD, GBP, XBT and XMR. Crypto payments are not available to customers in Iceland for tax reasons. Payments are made from the customer dashboard.
The terms of service record the subscriber's name, email address, telephone number and payment details at signup, so the service is not strictly anonymous. Shared hosting has a 14-day and VPS a 7-day money-back period.
